I just found Isaac Cordal's work through the guardian website. Really interesting miniature installations often with a strong sense of political motivation.
In clearing out my room I have recently found a book by Sam Haskins called Photo Graphics it is pretty interesting showing the world of image manipulation before photoshop. He is perhaps best known for his nudes however including those used in 'The Last of the Shadow Pupppets' recent album artwork.
Kate Wilson's work is really lovely. I bought a wedding card for my friend with one of her designs recently which featured one of her beautifully drawn signature birds.
My very good friend Amy told me about this very clever project and since she is pretty much the only person to follow my blog (and twice at that!) I thought I would share it. Irina Werning has basically taken old childhood photos and recreated them, sounds simple but works so well!
Beyond The Valley is a concept store for emerging and well established designers. There is some interesting work and lovely things to buy on their website.
Conor Harrington is a talented graffiti artist, I actually saw one of his pieces by Brick Lane in London although I didn't realise it was him at the time, very striking work.
I'm not really fussed on the clothes but the blog for The Hundreds is basically what I would love to do for a living. Travelling around, eating good food, going to exhibitions and taking photos (which are very good by the way).
I have really liked Marc Johns work for a while since I bought some stickers by him a few years ago. His website/blog is also very good for a range of illustrations and also features people's tattoos inspired by his drawings which is interesting!
The Arnolfini is a place which I like to take a look around every now and again. I will definitely be taking a visit soon as an exhibition of the work of Laura Oldfield Ford is currently on for a month. You can also see posters of her work all around Bristol.
