Revok

Revok is creating some excellent art at the moment, both on the streets and in galleries. I love his use of acidic bright colours and layering. His website is full of photos including those of his most recent show Perseverance.

Faile

Is a Brooklyn based collective whose work can be found all across the world, prominent features include collage and the use of massively repeated logos and icons. I love the multi layered pieces such as the one above. They have also worked on much more ambitious pieces such as a full scale temple in Portugal, more of their varied work can be found here.

ROA

Unfortunately I can't seem to find a website for ROA but there is this Flickr pool with a variety of his pieces. He was in the headlines last week also for Hackney councils decision to order the removal of one of his pieces which I think is a shame.

Solveig

Just found this talented young graffiti artist based in Brighton, I think she is now 12. Her flickr is well worth checking out for her bright engaging style of work also featuring the work of her younger sister.

Brad Downey

Just found this artist on the Creative Review blog. He was being featured for his stripping away of fifteen years worth of graffiti on a wall of fame in Vienna. He has also created a lot of other interesting pieces simply by playfully interacting with the urban environment, see his website for more.

Swoon

New York based artist Swoon specialises in beautiful intrically cut paper pieces which generally depict people she knows, although often fragile her pieces are made even more precious by their short lifespan.

This finishes tomorrow at 4pm and although I haven't seen it myself I have been told this collaborative exhibition is well worth a look.
