Jenny Scobel

I really like the work of Jenny Scobel, an artist who works primarily in graphite and water colour from New York.

The Glue Society

I saw this image (or one like it) in Creative Review a couple of years ago and it became one of my favourite ideas ever. It was created by The Glue Society based in Sydney and New York and made up of collaborators in various disciplines. The website is very engaging to use and their work is always intriguing and original. They also received a lot of press for their 'satellite google maps' of what some well known biblical scenes might have looked like.

Swoon

New York based artist Swoon specialises in beautiful intrically cut paper pieces which generally depict people she knows, although often fragile her pieces are made even more precious by their short lifespan.
