I love the work of Neozoon which appear (just read the first entry in German) to be a three piece art collective based in Berlin. They use reclaimed fur coats and cut them into animal silhouettes, simple but very effective.
Dan Witz uses incredibly detailed stickers to create realistic and images which often appear completely 3d. He is also a very talented painter, his paintings of mosh pits in particular are well worth a look. The candle stickers above were created to remember the events of September the 11th.
I just stumbled upon the work of graphic designer Lydia Skinner, she has some really interesting work. Above is a project on elusive landlords and the cover of her dissertation.
Soju Tanaka is an illustrator of some wonderful little whimsical characters, there is a lot of really good collaborative work to be seen on his/her website along with an interesting blog!
James Mollison is a very intriguing photographer who has looked at tribes of people going to pop concerts in his book 'Disciples'. He has recently published another book called 'Where Children Sleep' which also looks very interesting. It examines how our surroundings and upbringing shape us into the people we become.
I have loved the posters of Casey Raymond from the first time I saw them at Clwb Ifor Bach, we accumulated quite a few over our years of uni as a household. Here are a couple of my favourites!
