The photo was found in Stoke Newington resting on the bumper of a van and the note was at Victoria coach station.

I found this list on the way into work this morning. It was pretty near a church.

National Portrait Gallery

Whilst in London over the weekend I popped into the National Portrait Gallery to look at the annual BP Portrait Award show. I was really impressed with the standard of work and the winning portrait was absolutely harrowing but also well worth seeing. Here is an image of one of the other portraits, the exhibition is on until the 19th of September and is well worth catching if you are able to.

Mark Cowper

Whilst doing my self set project in my final year I looked at photographer Mark Cowper. I became really intrigued by his 'Ethelburga Tower' set of photos. They are a set of photos of peoples flats within a tower block but what sets them apart was the fact that each resident was given no prior warning about the photos taking place so had no time to clear up or 'edit' their space. I tried to achieve a similar thing when completing my project but it is difficult to know how much someone has altered their house if they know you are coming round!
