Stephen Walter
Whilst in London for a long weekend amongst other activities I went to 'Magnificent Maps' at The British Library. It was a brilliant exhibition in which you could really see how pictorial representations of the world and the countries within it have changed over time. I loved a lot of the old maps particularly a street view of Seville in which I could see where I used to live but one of the most interesting maps was a modern map by Stephen Walter shown above. It was annotated with thousands of descriptive words and symbols and really needs to be seen at scale to get the full appreciation, the exhibition is on until the 19th of September and is well worth a visit!
